Namo Lakshmi Yojana
The finance minister of Gujarat state Mr Kanubhai Desai announced the launch of the Namo Lakshmi Scheme Yojana 2024. Under the Namo Lakshmi Scheme Yojana 2024, the Gujarat state government will provide financial assistance to adolescent girls in the Gujarat state. The financial assistance will help adolescent girls complete their education till class 12th without worrying about financial troubles. This Scheme will empower women in the Gujarat state by providing quality education. The financial assistance of INR 50000 will be given to the selected applicant under the Namo Lakshmi Yojana over 4 years.
Objective of Namo Lakshmi Yojana
The main objective of launching the Namo Lakshmi Yojana is to provide financial assistance to adolescent girls so that they can continue their education without worrying about financial troubles. This scheme will increase the enrollment rate of girls in senior secondary schools in Gujarat state. By providing quality education the Gujarat state government will make the female citizens of Gujarat independent. The financial assistance from the Namo Lakshmi Yojana will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account. All the applicants who clear the eligibility criteria must fill out the application form on the official website to avail the benefits of Namo Lakshmi Yojana.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Gujarat state.
- The applicant must be a female student.
- The applicant must be between the age group of 13 to 18 years.
- The applicant must be studying in any government or government-aided school in Gujarat state.
- The applicant must belong to a financially unstable family.
Benefits of Namo Lakshmi Yojana
- The selected applicants under the Namo Lakshmi Yojana will get financial assistance from the Gujarat state government.
- The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account.
- When the applicants are studying in classes 9th and 10th the selected applicants will get INR 500 monthly from the state government.
- After passing the class 10th board exam Government will provide the remaining Rs 10000.
- When the applicants are studying in classes 11th and 12th the selected applicants will get INR 750 monthly from the state government.
- After passing the class 12th Board exam Government will provide the remaining Rs 15000.
- With the help of this scheme, the applicants can get quality education without worrying about financial troubles.
